Australian squash champion Michelle Martin comments: "The Olympics has lost what it was. Yes they’re trying to move with the times but it’s creating a mockery of the thing.” The squash community has been lobbying for decades for Olympics inclusion, to no avail. 20million people play regularly, worldwide. I'm with Michelle Martin on this one. If you have to have judges holding up subjective (nationally biased?) score cards it ain't a sport.
What like boxing, when there's not a knockout/stoppage?
Although the judges don't hold up score cards, there scores they award are made public.

It's very much still in 'Fashion' theres a world championships every year, Red Bull do a massive world wide event in lots of countries as well.
Theres breakers in probably every country in the world.
It is very gymnastic now though but the Koreans are exceptional.

I’d have thought the likes of squash and such as bowls are sports the more deserve to be olympified than breakdancing.

Only about 35 years after it ceased to be in fashion. They might as well include silly walks.
I'm not sure the Olympics have that much of a future anyway. The IOC is even more corrupt than FIFA. Cities have to stump up billions to hold it, most of which isn't recouped. it's really just for the prestige. And that doesn't last long.

It’s not outrageous, as in many ways it’s just an offshoot from gymnastics. Gymnastics already had already been doing that windmill thing where only your hands touch the floor.
